Katie Jacobs is a Los Angeles–based Local 706 and 720 makeup artist drawn to characters, atmosphere, and the emotional language of film. Her work lives in the space between realism and transformation — sometimes quiet and textural, sometimes bold and expressive — always guided by story.
 
Working across beauty, men’s grooming, and makeup effects, Katie approaches each project with a strong sense of tone and collaboration, shaping looks that feel lived-in, intentional, and deeply connected to performance. She is especially inspired by elevated genre and art-house storytelling, where makeup becomes part of the film’s psychological world rather than just surface design.

Whether creating grounded character work or pushing into more theatrical visual moments, her goal remains the same: to help build a world that feels honest, cinematic, and unforgettable.
